EXPERIENCED BAR & HOSPITALITY ALL ROUNDER

Brookstead Pub, Queensland

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly hospitality all-rounder to join our team at Brookstead Pub. An immediate start is available, with full time hours and discounted accommodation on site for the right applicant. Applications from couples are welcome, with potential work for both people depending on experience.

Brookstead is a small country town on the Darling Downs, approximately 2.5 hours from Brisbane and 45 minutes from Toowoomba. You’ll need your own reliable vehicle.

The role includes bar service, pouring drinks, taking payments, serving meals, cabin and pub cleaning, laundry, basic kitchen preparation, dishes, lawn work, mowing, whipper snipping and general maintenance. We’re a small team, so you’ll need to be happy helping wherever needed.

You’ll need a current Queensland-recognised RSA, previous bar and hospitality experience,



confident spoken English and the ability to work independently. Evening and weekend availability is essential, and shifts may include split shifts.

Adult casual pay is under the Hospitality Award, with applicable penalties and superannuation.

On-site accommodation is available for $150 per week. It is basic accommodation inside the pub, with a bedroom, your own bathroom and a separate area suitable for a lounge or storage. Kitchen facilities are shared within the pub’s commercial kitchen.
