Salary: $85,000 – $105,000 per annum

About the role
We are looking for an experienced trade professional with a strong understanding of residential construction and roofing. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for attending insurance claims throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. This is a field-based, fully remote role, supported by our dedicated administration team who coordinate bookings and appointments, allowing our assessors to focus on inspections, technical assessments and high-quality reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Insurance building assessments
- Roof inspections and detailed roof reports
- Storm and hail damage assessments
- Damage identification and causation assessments
- Detailed photographic reporting
- Scope of works and repair recommendations where required
About you
- Strong trade or construction background
- Confidence inspecting residential properties independently
- Experience within insurance repairs, insurance assessing, roofing or building inspections
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Confidence inspecting roofing systems and residential building damage
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- The ability to identify damage and determine likely causation
- Competence using technology for photographic documentation and reporting
- Professional communication with insured customers and clients
