Working closely with our project, construction and administration teams, you will assist with the commercial and contractual administration of construction projects from commencement through to completion.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with contract and project administration
Preparing and managing project correspondence and documentation
Assisting with progress claims, variations
Reviewing contracts, scopes of work and subcontract documentation
Preparing purchase orders and assisting with procurement
Maintaining project registers and document control
Tracking variations, costs, commitments and project information
Liaising with builders, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
Monitoring contractual requirements, notices and key dates
Assisting with tender and construction documentation
About you
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Reliable and able to take ownership of their responsibilities
Confident communicating with clients, builders, subcontractors and suppliers
Comfortable working with numbers and commercial documentation
A clear and skilled written communicator
Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Able to manage multiple priorities in a busy construction environment
Commercially minded and interested in understanding how construction projects are managed
Willing to learn and develop their skills
A team player with a practical, can-do attitude
