Are you an experienced sales professional in building supplies, timber, construction or trade products? This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established regional territory, strengthen existing accounts and win new business.

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative, ideally based on or near the Central Coast, to service customers across the Central Coast, Newcastle, Hunter and Mid North Coast.

Reporting directly to the Director, you will have the autonomy to plan your schedule, develop your territory and build lasting relationships with builders, contractors and trade customers.

The Role

Combining account management with recent business development, you will maintain a strong presence across your region and turn customer relationships into repeat business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Identifying and securing new customers throughout your territory
- Building relationships with builders, contractors and construction-related businesses




- Conducting regular customer visits, site meetings and account reviews
- Preparing quotations, following up enquiries and negotiating sales
- Identifying upcoming projects and opportunities to supply products
- Working with internal teams to coordinate orders and support reliable delivery
- Achieving sales targets and driving territory growth

About You

You know how to earn trust, understand a customer’s requirements and follow through. You enjoy developing existing accounts and are equally comfortable opening doors with new customers.

You will bring:

- Proven sales experience in building supplies, timber, hardware, construction or a related trade sector
- Knowledge of the Central Coast, Hunter or surrounding regional NSW markets
- A track record of winning business and growing customer accounts
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- The organisation and discipline to manage a large territory independently
- Commercial awareness and a practical approach to solving customer needs
- A current, valid driver’s licence

Location & Travel

This role is primarily on the road, with work-from-home flexibility for planning, quotations and follow-up. Regular travel across the territory and occasional visits to the Wetherill Park head office are required.
