About Flow Neuro Allied Therapy

Flow Neuro Allied Therapy is a growing specialist physiotherapy practice supporting adults and young people with neurological conditions, complex physical disability and rehabilitation needs across Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter.

We provide ethical, client-centred and evidence-based therapy in the community, with a strong focus on meaningful outcomes, long-term relationships and high-quality care.

We are a small but established practice with a growing referral base and a strong local reputation. As demand continues to increase, we are looking for a physiotherapist who wants to develop their skills in neurological and disability-focused practice while being supported by a adaptable, values-driven team.

This role may suit a physiotherapist who enjoys working with clients over time, values autonomy, and wants the clinical depth of neurological rehabilitation without being lost in a large organisation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a physiotherapist to join our team in either a full-time or part-time capacity.

You will manage a varied community-based caseload, supporting clients aged 16+ with neurological, physical disability and rehabilitation needs. Many clients are funded through the NDIS, with therapy delivered in homes, community settings, pools, gyms, parks and other functional environments.

You will not be expected to work in isolation. The role includes regular clinical supervision, informal mentoring, peer discussion, admin support and streamlined documentation systems. Your caseload will be built around your experience, interests and availability, with support to develop further in neurological physiotherapy.

Neuro experience is valued, but we are also open to a motivated physiotherapist with experience in adult disability, rehabilitation, community practice, aged care,

musculoskeletal therapy or NDIS who wants to develop in this area.

Why Join Flow?

At Flow, we want clinicians to feel supported, respected and able to do quality work. We are intentionally growing in a way that protects both client care and clinician wellbeing. We are not looking for someone to simply “fill a role”. We are looking for the right person to join the team and be supported to do good work.

You will have access to:

- Flexible full time or part-time hours
- A geographically planned caseload wherever possible
- Paid travel allowance
- Admin support and streamlined documentation
- Regular clinical supervision and informal mentoring
- Internal peer support and case discussion
- External professional development support
- A varied neurological and disability-focused caseload
- The opportunity to build meaningful long-term client relationships
- A supportive small-team workplace where your input is genuinely valued
- A role that can grow with your clinical interests and career goals

About the Role

In this role, you will:

- Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to clients with neurological conditions, physical disability and rehabilitation needs
- Complete assessments, treatment plans and therapy programs in community settings
- Support clients to improve mobility, function, confidence and participation
- Work with families, support workers, coordinators and other allied health professionals
- Complete clear and timely clinical notes, reports and NDIS documentation

- Manage your diary with support from the team
- Participate in supervision, mentoring and peer case discussion
- Maintain professional communication with referrers and support networks
- Your work will be practical, meaningful and client-focused. Sessions may occur in the home, community, hydrotherapy pool, gym, park or other real-world environments depending on the client’s goals.

About You

- You may be an experienced neurological physiotherapist, or you may be a physiotherapist with a strong interest in developing in this area.

You will suit this role if you are:

- Passionate about helping people with neurological conditions and disability
- Interested in building strong therapeutic relationships with clients
- Comfortable working in community settings
- Organised, reliable and able to manage a flexible caseload
- A clear and professional communicator
- Reflective, open to feedback and interested in ongoing learning
- Able to work independently while still valuing team support
- Committed to ethical, evidence-based and client-centred care
- Experience in neurological physiotherapy, NDIS, community rehabilitation or adult disability is highly regarded, but not essential for the right person.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current driver’s licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- National Police Check

We will be interviewing candidates as applications come through so please apply early to ensure your application is reviewed!
