Dentist – Newport

We are an established independent practice in Newport, and we’re looking for an experienced dentist to join our team on a permanent basis, initially two days per week.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone looking to build a strong, long-term patient base in a busy practice.

One of our long-standing dentists will be taking approximately 10 weeks of maternity leave from mid-November, which means the successful applicant will have access to an established patient base from the outset.

Importantly, this is a permanent position, not maternity cover. There will be plenty of opportunity to continue building your patient book after her return.

The role will include:

- Patients requiring ongoing care during maternity leave
- New and emergency patients
- Internal referrals and patient introductions
- The opportunity to gradually take over appropriate patients as our principal dentist reduces his clinical days

There is also the potential to increase from three days to four or more as the practice grows.

About the practice

We are a busy, long-established Northern Beaches practice with plenty of room to grow.

We have a modern, state-of-the-art setup with three fully equipped A-dec surgeries, TRIOS intraoral scanning,



CBCT and digital radiography, dedicated sterilisation facilities and an experienced support team.

Our practice accreditation has also recently been renewed for a further two years.

About you

We’re looking for an experienced, ethical and friendly general dentist who takes pride in their work and has excellent communication skills.

We want someone who is interested in becoming part of the team long-term, building relationships with patients and growing their own patient base within the practice.

Current AHPRA registration and appropriate professional indemnity insurance are essential.

The position is offered on a contractor basis, with competitive percentage-based remuneration.

Ideally, we’d like someone to start in late October or early November, giving them time to settle in and get to know the team and patients before the maternity leave begins.
