Most casual jobs give you a narrow slice of a business that's already built. This one puts you in the room

while a business is being built.

Freshr is about to go live in Sydney, and we're looking for a sharp, curious and organised person to join us

as one of our very first team members. You'll work directly with the founders across admin, operations and

marketing, helping turn a well-designed platform into a business that real customers and cleaners use

every day.

If you're currently studying business or a related field, or a recent graduate who wants genuine startup

experience alongside study or other commitments, this is a rare opportunity to learn how a company is

launched, not just read about it.

About Freshr

Freshr is an on-demand cleaning marketplace for homes and businesses. Customers book a clean in a

few taps, get a clear upfront price, and are matched with a vetted, independent cleaning professional.

Cleaners get a steady flow of work on their own terms, with the flexibility to accept the jobs that suit them.

We're starting in Sydney with plans to grow nationally. Behind the app is a lot of careful thinking about

pricing, payments, quality and trust, and now we need help getting it out into the world.

What you'll be doing

In the early days you'll wear a few hats. Your time will roughly split across three areas, and as the business

grows we'll shape the role around where you shine. You won't be doing it alone: the founders lead each of

these areas, and you'll work alongside them, with guidance and support as you learn.

1. Getting the business up and running

- Set up and maintain the systems a new company runs on: CRM, shared drives, templates, trackers and

filing

- Keep customer and cleaner records accurate and up to date
- Help put together the processes, checklists and how-to guides we'll rely on as we scale
- Manage inboxes, follow-ups, scheduling and general business admin

2. Making operations work day to day

- Be a friendly first point of contact for customers and cleaners by phone, email and messaging
- Support cleaner onboarding, including checking that verification documents (ID, ABN, insurance) are

complete





- Help reconcile bookings and track cleaner payouts processed through the platform
- Test the app from both the customer and cleaner side, log issues and feedback what's working and

what isn't

3. Getting the word out

- Help plan and run our launch marketing: social media, email campaigns and local promotions
- Create content using tools like Canva, from social posts to flyers and website updates
- Research and build target lists of potential customers, such as Airbnb hosts, property managers, strata

and small businesses

- Run outreach and follow-ups, and track what's generating interest
- Help recruit cleaners onto the platform through community groups, job boards and partnerships

Who we're looking for

We care more about attitude and potential than a long CV. You'll probably be:

- A current student or recent graduate in business, commerce, marketing or a related field
- Highly organised, with a real eye for detail. You like things tidy, tracked and followed through
- A confident communicator who's comfortable picking up the phone as well as writing a clear email
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and apps. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills are a big plus
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own when needed, but not afraid to ask questions
- Excited by the idea of building something rather than just maintaining it
- Willing to learn a wide variety of skills and comfortable juggling several tasks at once

Bonus points for

- Experience with a CRM, Canva, social media scheduling tools or email marketing platforms. Not

essential – we'll train you

- Administration experience of any kind. If you've worked in admin,



we'd especially love to hear from you
- Customer service, hospitality or retail experience
- An interest in startups, apps, marketplaces or digital products

What success looks like in your first three months

- Our CRM and core business systems are set up, organised and kept current
- A working contact database of 1,000 to 2,000 target customers, with outreach logged and followed up
- Launch marketing is live and consistent across our key channels
- Cleaner onboarding records are complete, and payout tracking is running smoothly
- A weekly operations snapshot lands with the founders every week

- Hours: Flexible, averaging around 20 hours per week. Hours are offered and agreed in advance and

may vary with business needs and your availability

- Schedule: Versatile weekly schedule by agreement, with some availability during business hours
- Location: Hybrid. Mostly remote, with some in-person time in Sydney as needed
- Start: Flexible, to be confirmed
