About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our national People & Culture team at our Newstead head office, reporting to the Head of People & Culture. We would love someone who can start straight away, so if you are available now or at short notice, we want to hear from you.

This role suits a HR professional who likes data and systems as much as they like people. You will also be a trusted, hands-on HR generalist who gives managers practical, sound advice on employee relations and everyday people matters, from performance and conduct concerns through to policy, award and leave questions, and you will handle sensitive situations with care and discretion.

You will produce the workforce insights our leaders depend on, help us get the most out of our Rippling HRIS and run recruitment for some of our most specialised clinical and corporate roles. By supporting our clinicians, scientists, nurses and corporate teams in clinics across Queensland, Current South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, your work will directly support the patients and families we care for.

What you will do

Key duties of this role include:

- Produce monthly workforce analytics and maintain accurate dashboards on turnover, recruitment, compliance and workforce trends
- Support the configuration, testing (UAT) and ongoing improvement of our Rippling HRIS, working with internal and external stakeholders to fix issues and improve workflows
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for hard-to-fill, specialist and senior roles, working with hiring managers on sourcing strategy, selection and candidate experience
- Advise on and case-manage low-to-moderate employee relations matters so outcomes are fair, respectful and compliant, and escalate complex matters appropriately
- Keep accurate, confidential case records, templates and documentation
- Review and improve HR processes, SOPs and workflows
- Deliver HR and HRIS training to managers and employees
- Support the HR cycle throughout the year, including performance reviews, remuneration reviews, compliance monitoring and workforce planning
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement across a growing national network

What we are looking for

You are a curious, solutions-focused HR generalist who enjoys solving problems and finding better ways of working. You’re as comfortable building a report as you are talking a manager through a tricky conversation, and you handle sensitive matters with discretion and care. Ideally, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience in HR reporting,

workforce analytics and HRIS configuration or testing, ideally in a complex or multi-site environment
- Proven experience managing low-to-moderate ER matters with sound judgement and a working knowledge of the Fair Work Act and modern awards (healthcare award experience highly regarded)
- Experience recruiting for specialist, technical or hard-to-fill roles
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills, with advanced Excel and the ability to turn data into practical recommendations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Availability to start immediately or at short notice (highly regarded)
