ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Zarco Workforce is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics and Mechanical Fitters for workshop-based opportunities in Muswellbrook, NSW.

Offering a competitive flat hourly rate of $65–$75 per hour, plus 12% superannuation, these roles provide a consistent 7-on / 7-off roster with day or night shift options and the potential to transition into permanent employment.

We are looking for skilled tradespeople who can confidently diagnose, maintain and repair heavy equipment, with proven experience working on CAT, Komatsu and Liebherr machinery.

These are local, drive-in positions. Applicants must be able to commute to the workshop for their rostered shifts, as accommodation and camp facilities are not provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in a workshop workplace.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and equipment system faults.
- Complete component replacements, inspections and breakdown repairs.
- Maintain equipment reliability and minimise operational downtime.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR





- Trade qualifications in Heavy Diesel, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or Mechanical Fitting.
- Demonstrated experience with CAT, Komatsu and Liebherr machinery and operating systems.
- Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and mechanical repair skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 7/7 roster.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Previous experience working on heavy equipment is highly regarded.

COAL BOARD MEDICAL

A current Coal Board Medical (Order 43) is advantageous but not essential when applying.

If you don't currently hold one, Zarco Workforce will arrange and cover the cost of the required medical for successful candidates.
