Bliss Nursing & Community Care is seeking a compassionate and experienced Arabic-speaking Social Worker to support our growing aged care clients across Australia. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about enhancing the wellbeing of older Australians.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial and wellbeing assessments.
- Provide counselling, advocacy, and emotional support to aged care clients and their families.
- Develop and review person-centred care and support plans.
- Assist clients in navigating My Aged Care and community services.
- Support clients experiencing social isolation, grief, loss, and life transitions.
- Work collaboratively with families, care managers, healthcare professionals, and community organisations.
- Maintain accurate case notes and compliance documentation.
Essential Criteria
Experience working within Aged Care, Home Care Packages,
Community Care, or Health Services.
Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
Solid understanding of culturally sensitive and person-centred care.
Current National Police Check.
Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
Highly Desirable
- Experience supporting Arabic-speaking older people and their families.
- Knowledge of My Aged Care and Support at Home programs.
- Experience in case management and community engagement.
- Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Bilingual skills and experience working within multicultural communities.
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
