Saturday & Thursday Evening Shifts to Start Pathway Into Sales Team

Gerry’s Suit Hire is Adelaide’s leading destination for premium menswear and formal hire. We’re looking for a confident, clear‑speaking Casual Assistant to support our sales team, coordinate the showroom floor, and help deliver the polished service our clients expect.

This role begins with Saturday daytime and Thursday evening shifts, with the opportunity to build additional hours and progress into our sales team if you demonstrate the right skills, attitude, and initiative.

About the Role

You’ll help keep the showroom running smoothly by:

- Supporting the sales team during fittings, consultations, and busy periods
- Coordinating customer flow and ensuring a seamless client experience
- Answering phones clearly and professionally
- Assisting with bookings, enquiries, and appointment management
- Maintaining showroom presentation and garment readiness
- Providing warm, confident customer service

you’ll have the opportunity to step into sales responsibilities helping drive bookings, support monthly targets, and contribute directly to team performance.

What We’re Looking For

- Clear, fluent English-speaking skills
- A friendly, skilled communicator
- Strong organisation and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Customer service, retail, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential)
- A team player who can take direction and support others
- Someone reliable, well-presented, and eager to learn
- Ambition to progress into sales and contribute to store targets

Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
