Agenns Health & Social Care is currently recruiting for multiple Female Disability Support Worker positions across Cairns northern and southern suburbs.

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced support workers who are committed to providing high-quality, person-centered care and building positive, ongoing relationships with participants.

Available Positions & Shifts:

South Cairns – Female Support Workers

- Afternoon and evening shifts
- Overnight / sleepover shifts
- Weekend AM, PM and sleepovers
- Personal care, including showering, dressing and hygiene assistance
- Assistance with daily living routines and household tasks

North Cairns – Female Support Workers

- Day shifts: 9:00am – 2:00pm
- Evening shifts: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
- Weekend shifts available
- Assistance and prompting with personal hygiene and toileting - no showering
- Support with daily living routines and promoting independence

Reliability, flexibility and commitment to a consistent roster are essential.

Requirements:

- Female support workers (participant-specific personal care requirements)
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or relevant qualification
- Experience in disability support and personal care




- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Manual Handling and Medication Management training, or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to complete additional participant-specific training as required
- Compassionate, qualified and reliable approach

Pay: $41.00 – $72.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 25.0 per week
