About Us

City to Sea Landscapes is an established landscaping company specialising in the construction and ongoing maintenance of childcare centres across Australia.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Landscape Maintenance / Handyman to join our Brisbane maintenance team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has robust general handyman skills and is confident carrying out a variety of maintenance and gardening tasks.

You will be responsible for maintaining childcare centres to a high standard, ensuring outdoor areas, facilities and equipment are safe, functional and well presented.

About the Role

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- General handyman repairs and maintenance across childcare centres.
- Minor carpentry, painting, repairs and general upkeep of outdoor facilities and equipment.
- Identifying and attending to general maintenance issues.
- Basic irrigation repairs and maintenance.
- General garden maintenance, including mowing, pruning, weeding, mulching and garden upkeep.
- Maintaining outdoor areas to ensure they are safe, tidy and well presented.
- Completing scheduled maintenance tasks and identifying any additional works required.
- Recording completed work, including photos and reports, through our maintenance app.
- Working independently and managing your daily maintenance schedule.

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in their work.

To be successful in this role, you will have:





- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar handyman, property maintenance or landscape maintenance role.
- Strong general handyman skills and the ability to carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience with general gardening and landscape maintenance.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- A current driver's licence.
- A current Blue Card (QLD) or Working With Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain the relevant clearance.
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.
- The ability to manage your workload and complete tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.

Experience working in childcare or educational environments would be an advantage but is not essential.
