About the Role: Carpenters x 4

We are seeking four (4) capable and motivated Carpenters to support construction activities across our projects. The successful candidates will undertake carpentry and formwork-related duties in support of construction projects alongside other construction personnel to ensure that work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications, construction drawings and applicable Australian Standards across the following tasks:

- Studying plans, drawings, and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures for residential building projects;
- Fabricating, constructing, and erecting timber frames, wall studs, roof trusses, and subfloors in accordance with engineering and architectural specifications;
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and composite materials using hand and power tools to form structural components and fixtures;
- Installing floorboards, wall cladding, fascia boards, roof framing, and internal timber linings to ensure structural integrity and weather-tightness;




- Setting out building layouts and establishing levels using spirit levels, laser levels, and measuring tools for accurate structural framing;
- Installing door frames, doors, window frames, staircases, cabinetry, and internal architectural finishings (skirting, architraves, moulding);
- Liaising with the Site Supervisor, Project Manager, and sub-contractors to ensure construction progresses according to project schedules and architectural drawings;
- Inspecting and repairing damaged timber structures, framing, and fixtures across renovation and extension projects;
- Ensuring all structural framework and carpentry works comply with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards (e.g., AS 1684 for residential timber-framed construction), and local council regulations;
- Managing timber and hardware inventory on site, ensuring correct materials, fixings, and equipment are ordered, inspected, and safely stored;
- Adhering strictly to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards, including the safe operation of power tools, erect scaffolding, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work setting;
- Conducting ongoing quality control checks on completed timber framing and fix-outs before hand-off to plasterers, painters, and other finishing trades.

Skills and Qualifications: The ideal candidates will have Certificate III or Certificate IV or relevant higher degree qualifications in related fields with two (2) years of experience in a similar role. At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
