About the Opportunity

We're an established local pizza and kebab takeaway in Werrington County, looking to take our business in an exciting new direction - transforming it into a quality pizza and pasta speciality eatery.

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Pizza & Pasta Chef or Lead Cook who wants more than just another kitchen job.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking, has ideas, takes initiative and would love to help shape and grow a food business.

We have an existing business, kitchen, customers and the willingness to invest in the right direction. What we're looking for is someone who brings the culinary experience and enthusiasm to help us get there.

What You'll Be Involved In

- Developing and refining our pizza and pasta menu
- Introducing new dishes, recipes and creative ideas
- Preparing consistently high-quality food
- Suggesting improvements to kitchen operations, preparation and workflow
- Helping with ingredient selection, portion control and food costing
- Guiding and training existing kitchen staff
- Working directly with the business owner to develop and grow the offering

Who We're Looking For

- Hands-on experience in pizza, pasta, Italian or Mediterranean-style kitchens




- Someone confident in their cooking skills and willing to share ideas
- A practical understanding of kitchen operations and food quality
- Someone who takes ownership, shows initiative and enjoys a challenge
- Previous menu development or kitchen leadership experience would be an advantage

You don't need to have managed an entire restaurant before. We're equally interested in an experienced cook who's ready to take the next step and contribute to something bigger.
