Queensland Survey pegs Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Wondai, Qld. In this strategic leadership position, you will be responsible for overseeing all staff and aspects of our factories both in Wondai and Mundubbera, ensuring efficiency, quality and safety across our facilities.

The role is pivotal to our operational success and directly impacts our ability to deliver excellent results to our clients. You will work on-site between Wondai and Mundubbera locations, leading the team and driving continuous improvement across our production setting.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate and oversee office and production activities, including HR, work health and safety and administrative functions, to implement production plans and ensure manufacturing targets are achieved on time and within budget.
- Manage production schedules and allocate labour, materials and equipment to meet production targets, optimise output and minimise downtime.
- Supervise and lead the production team, including recruiting training and performance management of staff
- Monitor production quality standards and specifications, ensuring they are maintained and improved
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols across the production floor
- Identify, evaluate and implement improvements to production methods and processes to enhance operational efficiency, improve output and minimise production costs.
- Maintain accurate production records and generate performance reports for directors




- Manage all warehouse operations including receiving, storage and inventory control
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records, minimizing inventory discrepancies
- Ensure efficient warehouse layout and material flow
- Manage production equipment maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance programs to ensure plant reliability, minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Monitor production output and operational performance, troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to adjust processes and resources as required.

What we looking for:

- Bachelor degree or higher qualification - a minimum of 5 years of work experience may substitute formal qualifications

- Relevant trade background would be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar senior manufacturing management role
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and resource management
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Proficiency with production management systems and computer software
- Experience with inventory management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in

manufacturing environments

Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
