About this role:

We are seeking a motivated Yardperson to join our team. This is a hands-on role involving yard operations, material handling, workshop support, and general production duties. We are looking for someone who is reliable, eager to learn and keen to build a long-term career, with opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with loading and unloading products onto forklift and trucks
- Place and move product into designated locations as directed by Supervisor
- Provide assistance to the paint, stores and assembly area as required
- Sort, pack and crate materials and products
- Maintain a clean, organised and hazard-free yard workplace

Essential Requirements:

- Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
- Some mechanical aptitude and the ability and desire to learn
- An understanding of how to operate power tools and complete manual handling tasks safely
- Ability to accept instruction while also using initiative to work independently
- A basic understanding of technical drawings or steel processing operations is highly regarded
- Physical fitness as the role involves manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.
- Reliable with excellent time management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strict adherence to procedures, rules,



and regulations to maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
- Current forklift license highly desired
