We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on cook to join our food production team. If you enjoy preparing quality food, staying organised and working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll help prepare and produce our range of gourmet foods, including pizzas, dips, marinated cheeses, antipasto and baked products.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and weighing ingredients accurately.
- Following recipes and production instructions to maintain consistent quality.
- Operating kitchen and production equipment safely.
- Packing, labelling and checking finished products.
- Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
- Cleaning equipment and work areas throughout the shift.
This is a hands-on role that includes both cooking and general factory duties.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food production workplace.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
- Confidence following recipes and communicating with the team.
- Reliable transport for early morning starts.
Commercial cookery qualifications are an advantage.
Hours
Casual weekday shifts, generally 6:00 am–2:00 pm, mainly Monday to Wednesday, with Thursday shifts depending on production needs. Days and hours vary according to workload.
