Walkalong is an established leather goods repairer that has been in the same shopping centre for over 70 years.

We are conveniently located with a tram stop outside or are 10 minutes walk from the station.

This position can be full or part time for the right applicant.

We are seeking an experienced sewing machinist for a full time or part time position.

The work includes repairing and altering leather jackets, motorcycle clothing, handbags and leather pants, along with replacing zips in items such as boots, bags and suitcases.

We are looking for someone who:

-Has experiencre using industrial sewing machines

-Has a background in dressmaking, alterations or leathetr repairs

-Can adapt their sewing skills to a variety of repair work

Applicants with robust dressmaking or alterations experience who are willing to learn leather repair techniques are encouraged to apply.
