At LEAD Childcare Toowoomba, we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Centre Manager who believes strong leadership is about more than managing the day-to-day. What we're looking for

As Centre Manager, you’ll take ownership of the overall leadership and operation of the service, with a strong focus on:

- Creating a positive working environment where educators feel supported, respected and valued.
- Child safety first – promoting a robust child-safe culture where the safety, wellbeing and best interests of every child remain central to practice and decision-making.
- Compliance and quality – maintaining a strong understanding of regulatory responsibilities and embedding high standards across everyday practice.
- Staff empowerment – developing your team, encouraging ownership and creating opportunities for educators to grow in confidence and capability.
- Growth and continuous improvement – identifying opportunities to strengthen the service while building a culture that embraces learning and development.
- Meaningful engagement with children – remaining visible and connected within the service and ensuring children's voices,



interests and experiences influence practice.
- An open and inviting service – creating an environment where children, families, educators and visitors feel welcomed, heard and respected.
- A philosophy-based approach – ensuring the service philosophy isn't simply words on a page, but something reflected in leadership, relationships, environments and everyday decisions.

About you

You’re a confident, approachable and proactive leader who understands that a successful early learning service starts with its people.

You bring a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard, approved learning frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements, along with a genuine commitment to child safety and quality early childhood education.

Most importantly, you know how to lead alongside your team. You communicate openly, build trust and give educators the support and confidence they need to succeed.
