About the Role

We're looking for a qualified and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. You'll be involved in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke joinery, working on premium projects that demand precision, craftsmanship, and a high-quality finish.

What You'll Be Building

- Custom kitchens, sculleries, walk-in robes, vanities, media walls, studies, gyms, and more
- Curved joinery, feature panelling, bar backs, and radius details
- Veneer and timber laminate joinery, including book matching and detailed edging
- Polyurethane and two-pack painted joinery
- Premium joinery incorporating stone, glass, steel, mirrors, and concealed LED lighting
- Custom cabinetry produced using CNC-manufactured components

Key Responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural plans and shop drawings
- Manufacture and assemble high-quality cabinetry and custom joinery
- Complete laminate and curved joinery work to a high standard
- Operate joinery machinery and equipment, including edge banders
- Ensure projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time




- Communicate effectively with builders and internal teams to resolve technical issues
- Maintain Ink Joinery's quality and workmanship standards

What You'll Bring

- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or Joinery
- Proven experience in high-end residential or commercial joinery
- Robust knowledge of joinery construction methods, materials, and hardware
- Experience with veneer, laminating, curved joinery, and edge banding
- Ability to read and work from architectural plans and shop drawings
- Experience with Blum hardware (highly regarded)
- Understanding of CNC manufacturing processes (advantageous)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
- Current driver's licence
- Installation experience is a bonus

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 per week
