Support Worker, Melbourne North (casual)

Namron Care and Supports is an NDIS registered provider with shifts across Melbourne's north (Broadmeadows, Reservoir, Craigieburn). We support people with disability at home and out in the community.

We're looking for support workers who are reliable and kind, and who turn up when they say they will. You'll usually work with the same people each week, so you get to know them and how they like things done.

The work

- Personal care and help around the home
- Getting out and about: shopping, appointments, activities
- Shifts in supported independent living (SIL) homes, including overnights

Pay and hours

- Casual. Paid under the SCHADS Award (home care stream), plus penalty rates for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Your classification depends on your experience and qualifications.
- Hours depend on the shifts available. We'll tell you plainly what's on offer before you start.




- We especially need people who can work weekends.

You'll need

- NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or be willing to apply (we'll help you with it)
- Current First Aid and CPR
- A driver licence and a reliable car
- A Working with Children Check if you'll be working with anyone under 18
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support or related study is a plus, but not essential

- Care plans, routines and risks set out in Visual Care before you start
- A manager you can reach, including after hours
