NDIS Support Worker – Mornington

Hours: 10:00am–2:00pm, typically Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday (1:00pm-4:00pm)

Frequency: Ongoing / weekly support

About the Role

Assist Support Services is seeking an experienced NDIS Support Worker to support a participant in Mornington.

The role involves providing support with personal care, daily living activities, meal preparation and community access as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Supporting the participant with getting dressed
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Assistance with daily living tasks
- Supporting community access and activities as required
- Encouraging independence and choice
- Building a positive and professional rapport
- Maintaining appropriate qualified boundaries

About You

We are looking for an experienced support worker who is confident providing personal care and working with participants who may present with challenging behaviours or communication.

You will need to be:

- Experienced and confident in NDIS support work
- Calm, patient and professional
- Confident in managing challenging situations




- Able to establish and maintain clear professional boundaries
- Comfortable working independently
- Reliable and flexible with your availability
- Respectful, compassionate and non-judgemental

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Previous NDIS/support work experience
- Experience supporting participants with complex or challenging behaviours
- Experience providing personal care, including showering and dressing
- Right to work in Australia
- Own car and valid license
