Are you a friendly, reliable and tech-savvy Disability Support Worker looking for regular ongoing shifts?

Assigned Guardian Angel (AGA) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to provide personalised one-on-one support to an NDIS participant in the Glen Waverley / Mount Waverley area.

We are looking for someone who is confident using computers and technology, patient, proactive and passionate about helping people maintain their independence.

This is a excellent opportunity for support workers looking for consistent weekly hours with a supportive and friendly team.

Available Shifts

We currently have 8 hours per week available:

- Monday: 4 hours
- Wednesday: 4 hours

Flexibility with working days is essential, as shifts may occasionally need to be adjusted depending on the participant's requirements.

Additional hours may become available.

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

- Assisting the participant with computer and technology-related tasks.
- Providing support with navigating websites, emails and online platforms.




- Encouraging independence and confidence with everyday activities.
- Supporting community access and appointments when required.
- Providing companionship and social support.
- Following the participant's individual support plan.
- Completing accurate shift notes and communicating with the coordination team.

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
- Strong computer skills and confidence using technology – essential.
- Ability to assist participants with basic computer tasks and online platforms.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate and person-centred approach.
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility with working days.
- Ability to work independently and follow individualised support plans.
