Lead the department in establishing and working towards a shared vision that supports high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
Promote fairness, equity and socially just practices while maintaining high expectations for student and staff performance.
Engage in ongoing professional learning and apply a strategic, future-focused approach to departmental leadership.
Build effective partnerships with students, parents, government agencies and community groups to support the school community.
Oversee departmental staff, finances, facilities and curriculum resources, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies affecting students and staff.
