About the Opportunity

As Venue Manager, you will take ownership of the overall performance and success of Fun Planet Shepparton, leading a diverse team across tenpin bowling, arcade games, attractions, food and beverage, birthday parties, group bookings and corporate events.

Working closely with the Directors and supported by your management team, you will have the opportunity to shape the venue's future, develop new ideas, grow revenue and create an environment where both customers and team members love to be.

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll balance commercial performance with people leadership, operational excellence and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and inspire: Build a positive, high-performing team through strong leadership, coaching and development.
- Drive business growth: Identify opportunities to increase revenue, attract new customers and encourage repeat visitation.
- Own venue performance: Manage budgets, labour costs,



sales targets and key business results.
- Create memorable experiences: Ensure every customer enjoys a welcoming, safe and engaging experience.
- Develop new opportunities: Drive bowling leagues, parties, corporate bookings, promotions and community partnerships.
- Oversee operations: Maintain high standards across all attractions, facilities, food and beverage, equipment and venue presentation.
- Build a excellent culture: Develop future leaders, recognise success and create a workplace where people enjoy coming to work.
- Make improvements: Bring fresh ideas, streamline processes and continuously look for ways to improve the business.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong leadership skills with commercial thinking, initiative and a genuine passion for customer experience.

You'll ideally have:

- Experience leading a team in hospitality, entertainment, leisure, recreation or a similar customer-focused business.
- Confidence managing budgets, sales targets, labour costs and operational performance.
- A natural ability to motivate people, develop talent and build a positive team culture.
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.




- A proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership and make decisions.
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to lead by example.
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Experience in bowling, arcade operations, attractions, food and beverage or multi-department venue management will be highly regarded.

A current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain these where required, will also be advantageous. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and school holiday periods is essential.
