Nowra Christian School is a growing Christian K-12 learning community of approximately 590 students, situated on the beautiful NSW South Coast. We are currently inviting applications from committed Christians of Protestant persuasion who are active in their local church, to join our school as a full time Secondary Teacher in 2027.

Selection Criteria

- A strong Christian faith and an active member of a local Protestant church
- An understanding and/or experience of teaching from a Christian worldview
- Experience and appropriate qualifications in teaching Stages 4 - 6 English
- An ability to provide high quality explicit teaching and learning programs that leverage ICT
- An understanding of best-practice approaches in student assessment
- Well-developed interpersonal skills

Mandatory Requirements

- Reference from current Protestant church minister




- Completion of the school’s online application form
- Current NSW Working With Children Check approval number
- NSW Teacher Accreditation number
