About the role

Bambra Press is looking for an experienced PUR Binder Operator to join our production team in Port Melbourne. We operate Bindex PUR, Horizon PUR and Morgana PUR binding equipment, and are seeking someone with genuine hands-on experience in PUR perfect binding.

Key responsibilities

- Operate PUR binding equipment including Bindex, Horizon and Morgana PUR systems

- Perform machine setup, operation and troubleshooting

- Manage PUR adhesives, spine preparation and binding quality

- Identify and resolve binding issues independently

- Assist across other areas of bindery operation when required, including guillotining, operating folding machines and general print finishing duties

About you

- Proven experience operating PUR binding equipment

- Confidence in machine setup, operation and troubleshooting

- Strong understanding of PUR adhesives,



spine preparation and binding quality

- Ability to identify and resolve binding issues independently

- Positive attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

- Experience with Bindex, Horizon or Morgana PUR equipment highly regarded

- Broader bindery and print finishing experience an advantage

- Flexible and capable to contribute wherever needed within the bindery team
