About the role

You will receive practical, hands-on training from an experienced team while developing skills in small engine servicing and repairs, mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis, Husqvarna equipment and product knowledge, spare parts identification, new equipment assembly and preparation, customer service, product demonstrations, showroom and equipment sales, and customer handovers and after-sales support. This position combines mechanical work with regular customer interaction and sales. A genuine interest in sales and customer service is highly required to be successful in this position. While mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are important, you must be equally enthusiastic about assisting customers, understanding their needs and recommending suitable products and solutions. You must be comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone, and will be expected to develop strong Husqvarna product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the servicing and repair of small engines and outdoor power equipment

- Learning to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and equipment inspections

- Assembling and preparing new equipment for customers

- Completing pre-delivery inspections

- Identifying, locating and ordering spare parts

- Developing detailed knowledge of Husqvarna products

- Assisting customers with equipment, service and spare-parts enquiries

- Providing friendly, professional and knowledgeable customer service

- Supporting showroom, parts and equipment sales

- A friendly, helpful and professional manner

- A willingness to learn Husqvarna products in detail

- An ability to listen to customers and understand their requirements

- Reliability and punctuality

- A current driver's licence, or progress toward obtaining one
