Stevens Group is one of South Australia’s respected structural steel providers, and we’re looking for a skilled tradesperson to join our growing team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will use your trade skills and experience to fabricate, assemble and weld structural steel components in a busy workshop environment.

You will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, producing quality work to Australian Standards and ensuring fabrication deadlines are met. This role is suited to a qualified Boilermaker who takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of accuracy, safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and work from technical drawings and fabrication plans.

- Fabricate and assemble structural steel components.

- Perform welding in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and project specifications.

- Ensure all work meets required quality standards and tolerances.





- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.

- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.

- Work collaboratively with the wider workshop team.

- Contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade, or equivalent recognised trade qualification.

- Experience as a qualified Boilermaker, ideally within the structural steel industry.

- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

- Sound fabrication, assembly and welding skills.

- A strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety.

- A reliable work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication and time management skills.

- The ability to take ownership of your work and contribute to the overall success of the team.
