We are looking for someone who is highly motivated about patient care to join the Wizard team. This person wants to take on more responsibility in the pharmacy's dispensary area, use their initiative to improve efficiencies and support the pharmacist in patient engagement.

The Role

Culture is a key part of the Wizard Brand. We aim to inspire a culture of success, and as a Dispensary Assistant at Wizard, you will be supported in your journey to assist the pharmacist in effectively running the dispensary, building patient and interprofessional relationships, and developing core skills in communication, inventory management, and leadership.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

- Support an experienced pharmacist in implementing all dispensary procedures and operations, including medication dispensing,



prescription workflow management, inventory management, and support of pharmacy services as required by the pharmacy.

- Promote Traditional and complementary health products and services

- Be part of a positive culture and workplace environment

- Provide continuous support across the entire pharmacy, including dispensary, over-the-counter medicines, nutrition and retail areas.

- Engage with customers to deliver a consistent excellence level of patient and customer experience

- Pay attention to detail and deliver a high standard of pharmacy presentation. Work with the team to maintain the merchandise and pharmacy appearance.

- Support team in all brand initiatives, such as our Wizard Rewards program and affiliates.

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

- S2/S3 certificate and a minimum of 12 months experience in community pharmacy is essential.

- Certificate II or III in community pharmacy is desirable.

- Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing software Dispense Worx and DAA packing tools looked upon favourably.

- Committed to ongoing personal and professional development

- Retail experience is advantageous

- Strong and effective communication skills

- High attention to detail

- You must have the right to live and work in Australia to apply for this job
