About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant / Café Manager to lead our operations at our Broadbeach location. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your management expertise in a quick-paced hospitality environment. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily operations of the restaurant or café, ensuring smooth service delivery and adherence to company standards

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of staff, including servers, kitchen staff, and support personnel

- Recruit, train, and develop team members to maintain high service standards and foster a positive workplace culture

- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimise costs and minimise waste

- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and work towards achieving sales targets and profitability goals

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times

- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues to maintain guest satisfaction

- Liaise with head office and other departments to implement operational policies and procedures

- Schedule staff shifts and manage labour costs whilst maintaining service quality

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance throughout the establishment

- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management

What we're looking for

- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in restaurant or café management roles

- Proven track record of successful supervision and team leadership in a hospitality setting

- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including stock management and cost control





- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints and maintain guest satisfaction

- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic restaurant management software

- Knowledge of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations applicable to food service establishments

- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and achieving sales targets

- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment

- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and senior management

- Australian RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification or willingness to obtain it

- Current First Aid certification is highly desirable

- Experience in training and developing staff is preferred
