THE COMPANY YOU'LL JOIN

This business creates legal documents and structures, including companies, trusts and SMSFs, for accounting, legal and wealth firms across Australia, with a B2B model built around professional advisers rather than end clients.

No other provider in their market does it the same way. They sit in the sweet spot between traditional law firms and the robotic, template driven providers, giving clients the assurance of a law firm with the speed and convenience of a tech platform.

What makes that possible is their own incorporated legal practice inside the business, so a lawyer oversees the data behind every document, rather than whatever goes in simply coming back out.

Clients can also pick up the phone and talk to that legal team at no cost, while competitors typically refer questions to an outsourced provider, take days to respond and charge in 30 minute blocks.

With 35 years in the industry, they're a recognised market leader and industry award winner, now looking after around 3,000 firms nationally, including two of the big four and many of the mid tier national networks.

Their share of the B2B company registration market has grown from a historical 15 to 18% to around 20% today, with a clear goal of reaching 30% over the next three years.

Private equity backed, the business is well resourced, with a strong marketing and events budget, while ownership has left the team to keep doing what it does well day to day.

Far from being left behind by automation, they invest heavily in technology and integrations with the software accounting firms already use.

With that momentum behind them,

they're now looking for a new business hunter to own and grow their NSW territory.

You'll be joining an experienced, long tenured team with support from legal, customer success and client services, plus career opportunities that can open up across the wider private equity portfolio for high performers.

THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE

As the NSW BDM, you'll own new business across Sydney, with regular travel to Newcastle and the mid north coast, and the autonomy to run your territory like your own business.

You'll target accounting firms of every size, from sole practitioners to mid tier networks, alongside a growing push into law firms and wealth practices.

Your pipeline is yours to build: open doors through your own network, run round table lunches with partner providers, follow up event leads and get face to face, where conversion is strongest. A busy marketing and events program also feeds inbound leads by territory.

Deals are transactional and range from around $2K to $100K+ in annual revenue, with the flexibility to tailor pricing to win key accounts. Sales cycles run anywhere from a single day to 12 months, so you'll balance quick wins with longer pursuits. Once ramped, the annual revenue target sits around $1M.

You won't be on your own.

In house lawyers can join meetings when a conversation gets technical, and early on your manager will attend meetings with you to help get deals over the line.

You'll start with around a week at the Brisbane head office to meet the team, followed by time in the field together in Sydney, then quarterly growth catch ups. You'll report to the Brisbane based Head of Sales, who has more than 20 years in the business.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

A proven B2B new business track record, with clear examples of deals you sourced, worked and closed yourself.

Experience selling into accounting firms, ideally with legal or wealth exposure as well. A strong book in legal or wealth alone could also work.

Existing relationships you can draw on to open doors from day one, plus the drive to keep building your network well beyond them.

A relationship led, consultative style. You're a hunter who gets out to events and meetings, not a hard seller, and you represent a premium brand well.

Backgrounds with software or service vendors selling to accountants, such as practice management software, are welcome, as are relationship robust account managers who've proven they can hunt.

Knowledge of companies, trusts and SMSFs is a bonus but not required, as full product training is provided before you're out on your own.

Autonomous, accountable and adaptable, you're comfortable managing a large, mixed pipeline in Salesforce. On offer: a competitive base plus super, uncapped and generous commissions, and a corporate card for travel. Interviewing now!
