About the role

North Mandurah Mechanical is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team on a full-time basis in Mandurah, WA. In this pivotal role, you will be the essential link between our customers and our technical team, ensuring every vehicle receives exceptional service and every customer leaves satisfied. As a Service Advisor, you will manage the customer journey from initial contact through to job completion, providing expert guidance on vehicle maintenance and repairs while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers and conducting thorough consultations to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs

- Providing knowledgeable recommendations on vehicle maintenance, repairs and servicing options in a clear and accessible manner

- Preparing accurate job quotes and service estimates for customers, ensuring transparency and value for money

- Scheduling appointments and managing the service workflow to optimise technician productivity and customer convenience

- Liaising between customers and technical staff to communicate progress updates, manage expectations and address any concerns

- Recording all service information accurately in the workshop management system, including customer details, vehicle specifications and work completed

- Processing invoices, handling payments and explaining charges to customers in a professional manner

- Maintaining a clean, welcoming reception area and ensuring excellent administrative organisation

- Building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business and customer loyalty

- Assisting with extended warranty claims and managing follow-up communications post-service

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor, Service Coordinator or similar customer-facing role in the automotive industry

- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes and common automotive issues





- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers

- Proficiency with workshop management software and computer systems

- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

- Honest, professional demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service

- A valid Australian driver's licence
