Senior Systems Engineer - Mission Systems & Integration | TSPV/TSPA Cleared | Adelaide, SA

Join a complex Defence capability environment providing authoritative systems engineering direction across mission system sustainment, technical design governance and multi-vendor integration. This role is suited to an experienced Systems Engineer who can guide major design decisions, manage technical risk and strengthen the resilience and long-term sustainability of critical ICT capability.

Location: Adelaide, SA
Work Arrangement: Onsite with access to work from home arrangements
Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement: Due to the nature of this setting, candidates are required to have a TSPV or TSPA clearance to perform this role.

Essential Tasks

- Provide technical direction across system sustainment, configuration management and design governance
- Oversee complex integrations across secure environments, data centres, WAN infrastructure and external systems
- Review major design artefacts, integration approaches and vendor proposals to ensure resilient and consistent outcomes




- Lead technical stakeholder and vendor engagement while managing engineering risks and integration challenges

Key Criteria

- Demonstrated experience designing and sustaining large or complex mission-critical ICT systems
- Strong systems integration capability across multi-vendor infrastructure and enterprise environments
- Experience assessing design options, technical risks, trade-offs and system-wide dependencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, technical leaders and commercial partners
