About the role

This is a business development role for someone who knows the commercial AV industry, understands how to identify opportunities and has the relationships and experience to turn those opportunities into projects. You'll work closely with the directors, technical team and project delivery teams to develop opportunities and deliver solutions that work for clients.

Key responsibilities

- Identify, develop and secure new commercial AV opportunities

- Build relationships with property developers, builders, architects, consultants and commercial clients

- Generate new leads and manage a strong sales pipeline

- Understand client requirements and work with the technical team to develop suitable solutions

- Prepare and present proposals, quotations and tenders

- Negotiate and close new business opportunities

- Maintain strong client relationships and identify repeat business opportunities

- Work towards agreed sales and profitability targets

About you

- Proven experience in business development or sales within the commercial AV industry

- Understands AV integration, including displays, video conferencing, audio systems, control systems and associated technologies

- Established network of contacts or the ability to develop new relationships quickly





- Confident approaching new clients and generating opportunities

- Can manage the sales process from initial introduction through to contract award

- Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margins and project profitability

- Organised, motivated and comfortable working independently

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Experience working with property developers, builders, AV consultants or commercial fit-out contractors will be highly regarded
