About the role

Working in close partnership with senior practice leaders and supported by a dedicated administrative team, you will take autonomous carriage of active files across all stages of the migration lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

- Managing an active, diverse caseload spanning 482, 494 and 186 visas

- Conducting comprehensive initial client consultations, diagnosing eligibility, formulating tailored migration roadmaps, and providing authoritative, strategic written advice

- Drafting, reviewing, and lodging complex sponsorship, nomination, and visa applications, including detailed legal submissions, genuine position statements, and evidentiary responses to departmental inquiries

- Providing day-to-day workflow delegation, mentorship, and quality-assurance review for paralegals and junior legal support staff

- Maintaining rigorous file hygiene, contemporaneous time recording, critical deadline tracking, and strict adherence to client account and trust requirements

About you

- Current, unrestricted registration as a Migration Agent with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority

- Proven post-qualification casework experience within an established Australian migration agency or legal practice, demonstrating technical command over corporate and skilled migration streams

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills,



with proven capability in conducting rigorous diagnostic consultations and managing corporate and individual client relationships with authority and empathy

- High technological capability, including practical proficiency with cloud-based legal practice management software, document management tools, and online government lodgement platforms

- A meticulous approach to compliance, file management, statutory deadlines, and skilled conduct benchmarks
