About the role

Reporting to the COO of our Waste Division, this role focuses on new business opportunities within the waste management space as IKON Services Australia expands its operations. You will be responsible for proactive procurement of new customers through a customer centric lens, working to become a world class sales influencer and negotiator in the waste management sector.

Key responsibilities

- Generate leads and close sales, with a focus on converting all leads and opportunities

- Tap into potential client opportunities to generate current business and grow relationships

- Drive sales functions of the business and implement and execute sales strategy

- Conduct site visits, client meetings and tender presentations with the existing team

- Maintain positive relationships with clients before, during, and after sales to ensure customer satisfaction

- Attend networking events, connect, and influence stakeholders to maximise lead potential

- Make suggestions that lead to improved sales outcomes

- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather information





- Conduct cold calling on the phone and attend client meetings, networking events and travel as required

About you

- 5+ years' Sales/Business Development experience

- Proven sales results, meeting and exceeding KPI's

- Highly organised with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail

- Natural influencer with superior negotiation skills and the ability to think on your feet

- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills

- Focused, goal oriented and highly motivated
