About the Role

Reporting to the HSE Manager - Remedial and Facade, you will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to proactively manage risk, support incident prevention, and continuously improve HSE performance on site.

- Lead proactive risk management activities, including emergency planning and incident prevention
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and compliance reporting
- Review and manage Secure Work Method Statements
- Support incident and near-miss investigations and reporting
- Share HSE alerts, lessons learned, and safety communications across the project
- Assist with the implementation of environmental and quality management systems




- Deliver HSE training, site inductions, and toolbox talks
- Engage with subcontractors to promote compliance and positive safety behaviours
- Support return-to-work and injury management processes
- Prepare monthly HSE reports, dashboards, and compliance reviews

About You

- Demonstrated experience in HSE roles within construction
- Experience supporting high risk work environments
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal legislation, regulations, and codes of practice
- Proven ability to build trusted, influential relationships at all levels
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic project environment
- Relevant qualifications in Safety Management
