Role Description This is a part time, on-site Chef role based in Gold Coast, QLD. The Chef will prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes and woodfired pizzas, following established recipes and presentation standards. Daily tasks include organizing and managing kitchen stations, ensuring food quality and freshness, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and assisting with stock rotation and inventory.

The role involves collaborating with the kitchen team,



supporting peak service periods, and adhering to food safety regulations. The Chef will also contribute to menu consistency, help reduce waste, and support a positive, productive working environment.

Qualifications
Strong skills in Italian cuisine and pizza preparation, including experience with woodfired ovens.
Ability to follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards while maintaining high food quality.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen cleanliness requirements.
Experience working in a busy commercial kitchen and managing time effectively during peak service.
Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a diverse team.
Reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistent, high-quality service.
Relevant culinary training or certification is beneficial; prior experience as a Chef or Cook is preferred.
Availability to work a range of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
