About the Role

Our client, a commercial ductwork manufacturer, is looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to take ownership of their Clontarf workshop.

The workshop produces ductwork for major commercial projects, from smaller, wide-ranging orders through to large production runs of hundreds of units. At the moment, the shed needs stronger day-to-day leadership to keep production organised, catch mistakes early and keep work moving efficiently and correctly.

This is a workshop-based role, not a site-based Leading Hand position.

The Opportunity
Take genuine ownership of daily workshop operations
Lead a small team of around 4 workshop labourers
Bring structure and organisation to production
Introduce practical improvements to workshop processes

Maintain quality standards and ensure production deadlines are met

About You
Proven leadership experience, ideally in a workshop, manufacturing or production workplace
Solid ability to organise people, prioritise tasks and manage production flow
Hands-on, practical approach and attention to detail
Ability to spot errors early and keep quality on track
Reliable, with availability for 6:00am starts and occasional overtime
Previous ductwork experience is not essential. Leadership and organisational skills are the priority

What’s on Offer
Competitive hourly rate plus super
Temp-to-perm opportunity
Real responsibility and the chance to shape how the workshop runs
Consistent weekday hours
Immediate start available (we are happy to wait for the right person)
