“Live on the Lake” music venue the historic “Toronto Hotel” on the shores of Lake Macquarie requires a Bar/Duty Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Open 7 days with bars, restaurant, function rooms and gaming on offer to patrons.

With our multi-million-dollar renovations completed,the hotel entails numerous facets of food and beverage operations. Inclusive of day-to-day restaurant lunch and dinner service, corporate, large scale live music events and cocktail & seated functions. .

To be successful in this role, you will have:




Excellent customer service – building a solid and positive relationship with customers
Oversee and supervise bar staff
A minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory role
Solid experience in a similar role /venue
Proven ability to manage service, safety, and security
Highly organized and effective time management
Current RSA and RSG Certificates
Knowledge and experience of Gaming & TAB
Understanding of current Liquor and Gaming Regulations
Productive use of POS (Point of Sale) system including end of day reporting
Stock take, stock control and ordering experience
Duty managers are on a rotating roster - must be able to work weekends
