About This Role

You'll take the lead on estimating across a range of commercial construction and refurbishment projects, working closely with the wider team from tender through to project handover.

Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs and tender submissions.
Reviewing drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Identifying cost-saving opportunities, risks and potential variations.
Managing tender processes, budgets and cost plans.
Working closely with project delivery teams to ensure a smooth handover.
Building solid relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and clients.

Requirements

You’ll be an experienced Estimator with a strong commercial understanding and the confidence to manage tenders from start to finish.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
Previous estimating experience within commercial construction in Australia.
Experience pricing refurbishment projects valued up to $10M.
Strong knowledge of construction costs, subcontractor pricing and procurement.
The ability to interpret drawings,



specifications and scopes of work.
Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness.
A proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with a excellent team.

Experience across refurbishment, aged care, healthcare, education, government or general commercial construction would be highly regarded.
