What you'll be doing
Structural steel fabrication, installation and repairs
Welding and fabrication of structural steel components
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling steelwork




Carrying out modifications and repairs to existing structures
Following site safety procedures and shutdown schedules
Working collaboratively with other trades to complete works safely and efficiently

What you'll need
Boilermaking Trade Certificate – essential
Current White Card
Own tools
Previous structural steel fabrication or site experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts over the Christmas period
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety

Highly regarded
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) ticket
Working at heights ticket
Confined Space ticket
Previous industrial shutdown experience
Experience with structural steel welding, fabrication and installation
