BreastScreen Queensland Brisbane Southside Service provides a free breast cancer screening and assessment service for eligible women aged 40 and over. The catchment area covers 1,477 sq km and follows client referral patterns.

The role focuses on delivering specialist nursing care for cancer screening, supporting education, research and continuous improvement, and contributing to clinical governance and service development to achieve positive client outcomes.
