$55 per hour + Penalty Rates | Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:30pm | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

About the Opportunity

2XM Recruit is currently seeking a trade-qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter to join our client who is a leading provider of pipeline infrastructure solutions across Australia and Current Zealand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical tradesperson looking for a hands‑on role with consistent weekday hours and to work ona wide range of equipment used within their operations.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs across a diverse range of operational equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults to minimise equipment downtime.
Complete routine inspections and identify maintenance requirements.




Repair and replace mechanical components as required.
Ensure equipment is maintained to secure and reliable operating standards.
Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to support daily operations.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

About You
Relevant mechanical trade qualification is essential – Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or Mechanical Fitter.
Previous experience in mechanical servicing, maintenance and repairs.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work across a variety of equipment and machinery.
A proactive, reliable and safety‑focused approach.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
