About the Role

Esteban Restaurant is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Trade Waiter to support its front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional table service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to a seamless and engaging dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional and attentive table service to ensure a high-quality customer experience;
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, offering menu recommendations where appropriate;
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements;
Set up and clear tables, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently maintained;
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders;
Handle customer enquiries, feedback,



and complaints in a courteous and productive manner;
Process payments using POS systems and manage cash handling procedures;
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods;
Assist in maintaining stock levels of service items and reporting shortages as required;
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times;
Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues during busy service periods.

About You
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Waiter or in a similar hospitality role;
Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly manner;
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced restaurant setting;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Sound knowledge of food and beverage service, including alcohol service requirements;
Experience using POS systems;
Valid RSA certification (required);
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Employment Details
Position: Full time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
