Retail Assistant – IGA Windsor

About the Role

We are looking for friendly, reliable and hardworking Retail Assistants to join our team at IGA Windsor. The successful applicants will help provide excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented store.

Key Responsibilities
Provide friendly, polite and helpful customer service.
Operate checkout registers accurately and efficiently.
Assist customers with product enquiries and finding items.
Replenish stock and maintain well-presented shelves.
Follow proper stock rotation and FIFO procedures.
Check product dates and remove expired or damaged products.
Complete daily markdowns and promotional displays as required.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of aisles, checkout areas and other store areas.
Receive, check and put away stock deliveries.




Assist with online orders and customer deliveries when required.
Follow store policies and procedures at all times.
Work effectively as part of a team.
Perform other reasonable duties as required by management.

Previous supermarket or retail experience is preferred.
Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays when required.

Pay: $26.44 – $47.76 per hour
