Public Sector People are partnering with a local government organisation to recruit for an Project Support Officer.

Contract: 6 months Immediate Start

Hourly Pay Rate: $45+ p/h + Super

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to assist with the delivery of projects and business initiatives.
Assist with the development, maintenance and updating of templates, procedures and project documentation.
Coordinate and support council meetings, including preparing agendas, recording minutes and maintaining accurate records.
Assist with the coordination of vendors, stakeholders and internal teams to support project delivery.
Provide guidance and support to staff across the business on internal systems, processes and procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation, registers and records in line with council policies and governance requirements.
Assist with identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes, systems and workflows.
Prepare reports, presentations,



meeting papers and other documentation as required.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate activities, monitor progress and ensure administrative and project tasks are completed within required timeframes.

Essential
2+ years experience in an administration support role within local government or working in a politically sensitive workplace
Previous experience with TechOne, Content Manager/TRIM, Authority or Pathway highly regarded
