University Students / Work Experience Placement

Runway Secrets is looking for a motivated university student who would like to gain practical, hands-on experience working behind the scenes of a growing Australian fashion retail business.

This is not a retail sales position. You will be based at our Collins Street location working on the back-of-house, administration and e-commerce side of the business.

You’ll gain exposure to areas including:
E-commerce and Shopify administration
Online order management
Product uploads and website maintenance
Stock and inventory administration
Customer service administration
Basic marketing and social media support
Preparing reports and spreadsheets
General business administration
Understanding the day-to-day operations of a multi-store fashion business

Who we’re looking for

We would love to hear from university students studying areas such as:
Business
Marketing
E-commerce
Fashion Business
Retail Management
Digital Marketing
Administration or related fields





You don’t need extensive experience. We are looking for someone who is switched on, organised, confident with computers, willing to learn and genuinely interested in gaining real-world business experience.

Please note: This prospect is intended as an unpaid university work experience / vocational placement, not paid employment. Applicants should ideally be seeking a placement as part of, or supported by, their university or educational course.

There is no selling or shop-floor retail work involved.
